Custom / Bespoke
Made once, for one room
Most of the studio's work is commissioned. A bespoke piece is drawn to a specific space, a specific material and a specific set of constraints.

The process
Seven stages, from idea to delivery
- 01
Idea
You select an existing TERRA design as a starting point, or bring an idea, a sketch, a photograph or a dimension.
- 02
Design
The studio develops dimensions, proportions, material strategy and specifications, and issues drawings for approval.
- 03
Material
Stone and finish are selected — and any wood or metal in support. Where possible, slabs or blocks are reviewed before commitment.
- 04
Visualize
A render or visualisation is prepared where the scope warrants it, so the piece can be judged in context.
- 05
Quote
A formal proposal is prepared covering fabrication, finish, delivery and placement.
- 06
Craft
The piece enters fabrication with specialist ateliers. Machine work is followed by hand finishing, with checks at agreed stages.
- 07
Delivery
The finished piece is inspected, delivered and placed in its room.

Scope
What can be commissioned
- One-of-one pieces developed from a drawing or a block
- Custom furniture — dining and coffee tables, desks, consoles, credenzas
- Custom architectural objects — pedestals, plinths, columns, sculptural volumes
- Stone with wood or metal — bases, structures, drawers and interiors
Lead times, minimum scope and pricing are confirmed per commission. TERRA does not undertake kitchens, bathrooms, cladding, flooring or installation works.
A bespoke piece is not a variation on a catalogue item. It is drawn from the room outward.
